The 1st ICBI Global Congress, taking place on October 23–24 2026, brings together two key themes shaping the future of modern implantology.

The first focus area is Artificial Intelligence—not from a purely technical or clinical perspective, but as a practical tool for marketing, patient communication, and social media. As dentists spend most of their day in the operating room, AI offers powerful ways to save time, increase visibility, and scale communication. The congress highlights how AI can support patient acquisition, automated communication, and content creation, enabling dental professionals to multiply their presence without adding workload.

The second focus area addresses the current scientific state of ceramic implantology. A major highlight of the congress is the first-time presentation of the results from the inaugural Consensus Conference on Ceramic Implants, organized by the ICBI Foundation in Nice in 2025. These findings will be presented and discussed by the Board Members of the ICBI Foundation, offering a milestone update for evidence-based ceramic implantology.

Furthermore, don't miss two landmark studies making their global debut at the 1st ICBI Global Congress! First, witness the launch of a groundbreaking prospective multicenter study that will redefine ceramic implantology's scientific future—starting with a crucial harmonization of terminology (one-piece vs. two-piece, bone-level vs. tissue-level) to finally enable cross-system comparability and close critical evidence gaps around peri-implant health. Second, discover compelling five-year+ retrospective data from 360 immediately placed and loaded ceramic implants across three centers, revealing real-world survival rates, marginal bone stability, and peri-implant soft tissue outcomes. Together, these studies deliver what the field has awaited: one builds the methodological backbone for tomorrow's research, the other delivers today's long-term clinical proof. This is where ceramic implantology steps decisively into its evidence-based era—and you'll experience it first-hand in Zurich.

Confirmed speaker:

Prof. Dr. Jörg Neugebauer, Dr. Guo-Hao Alex Lin, Dr. Amerian Sones, Dr. Paul Henn, Dr. Karl Ulrich Volz, Dr. Gregor Hočevar, Dr. Robert Bauder, Moritz Kneer, Dr. Mario Parra, Stanely Dikeocha.

The congress will be held at The Circle at Zurich Airport, a state-of-the-art venue offering outstanding infrastructure and direct international accessibility. Room contingents at the Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport have been reserved for participants, ensuring maximum convenience and seamless integration of travel, accommodation, and congress experience.

Ahead of the congress, two parallel pre-congress workshops will take place on October 21–22: one dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and one focused on scientific methodology in dentistry. The AI workshop includes hands-on sessions in a green-screen studio, where participants learn how to create their own content and build a personalized AI avatar. Further details can be found in the individual workshop descriptions.
